It was my boyfriends birthday on the fifth of september, he turned 25 this year. When he went away I decorated our room with colorful flags and balloons, it looked really cosy and he was very happy and surprised when he came back. Then at mid night I gave him a little present, it was a money-box in the shape of a cat, mainly because we are so poor because I go to school now haha and because he really likes cats also we ate a cake together, on his cake I put a candle so that he could make a birthday wish. His 'main' present he'd get tomorrow at dinner because I would cook for him. I made a birthday cake in a heart shape from chocolate and cocos and the filling was cherry-cream thing. Was a really well made cake though hehe! For dinner I cooked steak with mushroom sauce, potatoes and some veggies also I made a nice salad for along the meal, he also likes pickles for some reason so I put those also on the table. Because I don't have a job nowadays I couldn't afford a really expensive present like I could last year. The not having money thing is quite harsh for me and I really need to get used to it but oh well, will get there someday. So I bought twelve cute cards for each month of the year one, starting the year with september of course. In every card is written a sweet thing and also what we're going to do together in that month. Like: going to the train station and catch a random train going to wherever. and more things like that. It's quite a surprise for every month. :)
